Discord Data Breach Claims

Coulson P.C., an experienced consumer data privacy law firm, intends to pursue claims on behalf of qualifying Discord users.

We are currently focused on pursuing claims for users whose drivers licenses or other ID were disclosed, given the additional harms they may face.

On October 3, 2025, Discord notified certain users that their personal information had been disclosed in a data breach.

Most concerningly, users who submitted support requests to appeal age verification determinations were informed that images of themselves and their drivers’ licenses or other ID were part of the breach. According to Discord, the leaked information also includes:

• Name, Discord username, email and other contact details if provided to Discord customer support

• Limited billing information such as payment type, the last four digits of your credit card, and purchase history if associated with your account

• IP addresses

• Messages with customer service agents
