Frequently asked TCPA questions

  • This is an important consideration. In most cases involving legitimate businesses, the caller or texter will identify him-or-herself.

  • Receiving calls you didn’t invite while on the DNC list is actually its own form of TCPA violation. Sometimes, a single communication can violate the TCPA in multiple ways.

  • This is a pretty common example of a strong TCPA claim. If you texted STOP or similar language, and you still received more than one text thereafter, we encourage you to contact us!

  • At trial, a TCPA violation can be worth up to $500 (or $1,500 if it was done willfully). Of course, not all claims or cases are successful. An experienced complex case lawyer can help you maximize your recovery.
